To enable direct access to the information on this internet page, here is a small list of the most important information sources for X-Force players.

• First point in the case of problems/questions should be this online documentation among http://doc.xforce-online.de. There is set up a pmWiki in which you can find an instruction and help for X-Force. Please note that the documentation is not complete. However you can help to complete it.
• In the FAQs many set up questions are answered. You can also ask your own questions there.
• A forum is available for the general discussion of propositions.

What do I do, if an error occurs?

If an error occurs while playing X-Force please note the following points to make our job easier:

• Please check to see if you have installed the latest patches. There is now an online-updater (config.exe, in the startmenu under X-Force there is a shortcut to the configuration utility), which is installed with X-Force, you should install all important patches (marked with an exclamation mark).
• Look in the FAQs or in the forum. There you may find a solution for your problem, if it isn't a crash.
• With a crash appears an error dialog. You can click a button to send the error file (error.txt) as email. We want you to use this function to report problems and to correct X-Force. The email is not sent directly of course but it will be opened in your standard email client. If you don’t use a standard email client you can also send the error.txt (from the X-Force directory) by mail to us. Please send the file as an attachment, not by Copy & Paste in the body of the email.
• In the bug tracker under http://bugs.xforce-online.de/ you can log-in and report the error. Industrious bug locators are rewarded with an entry in the credits.
• Please don't report bugs in the forum. The forum is there for general discussions around X-Force.

How can I support X-Force?

There are a lot of ways to take part in the development of X-Force:

• Each useful idea and suggestion for improvement can be posted in the forum. These things will be discussed and perhaps it will be included in the next release.
• X-Force offers support for different languages. On the translation site, you obtain information how you can translate X-Force into a new language and/or what the state of translations to other languages is.
• In the development area you can get more information of how you can take part in the development of X-Force. Among other things, one describes how you can get the source code or how to carry out translations to other languages.
• Further information you get in the forum.

You can get the newsletter only when a new release or screenshot, an entry in the diary or news is published. To activate the newsletter please register in the forum and activate the options you want. In your forum profile you can later activate or deactivate the newsletter.
