Rules

This on-line help/documentation is based on the pmWiki system that allows anyone to contribute. How does it work? Very simple! Scroll down to the bottom status line and click on Edit Page and you are good to go. On the Test Page you can practice and familiarize yourself with the syntax.

In order keep the quality of the on-line documentation, consider the following rules:

Only existing content should be changed, if the quality or the extent can be improved. Basicly: "no content may be lost" (reformulations are permitted).

Use as good English as possible, without slang or a language "mode" ("no main header", "l33t 5p34k"). Avoid constant (manual) changes of the character fonts, colors and sizes, use instead the pre-defined Wiki tags.

It is forbidden to add any kind of outside content (pictures/texts etc) without the agreement of the author! Ignoring copyright leads to the immediate deletion of content concerned. Co-ordinate the publication with the author or refer to their web page.

All content is freely accessible for any visitor here and may be re-used both for private and commercial purposes, with the exception of copyright holders and their content. No exceptions!

If two changes overlap or if two authors have different opinions, one of the X-Force-moderators decides on last-minute contents. If you notice that someone changed contents of you, shown in the site history (apart from working on Link): There you see when, who, what and why it was changed. There is generally a good reason for the edit. If you do not agree to the change, you must not put back the page, one of the moderators (Christian Reich or Natter) will. We will then find a compromise from both sides.

Any content which breaks German laws in any way, is forbidden and will be immediately deleted.

Intentionally ignoring this set of rules leads in the long term to side blockages (treatment only with password) and destroys the sense and use of this Wiki system for X-Force: Fight For Destiny! Therefore, by the request of us, again - consider this set of rules, it serves all fans of X-COM.
